I’ve always been a helping person, even as a kid, I was the one other kids would ask advice from. I knew that I had a natural ability to listen and empathize with others and that innate ability led me to earn a Master of Education degree in counseling and a career as a teacher, counselor and coach. I love helping others find out what makes them click, what makes them happy, what lights up their eyes. I enjoy helping others plan out how to get from where they are to where they want to go, no matter where they find themselves in their musical journey. As a member of the
American Counseling Association and the Songwriters Association of Washington, I've been lucky to have been able to spend over three decades helping people design the paths that let them follow their dreams.
A fellow singer/songwriter myself, I have a unique window into how overwhelming, confusing and sometimes, demoralizing trying to balance writing, recording, performing and promotion can be.
Through my coaching practice, I work together with my clients to develop planning strategies and organizational techiques geared to an individual's learning style to blend their creative vision with concreate action steps.
